POLOKWANE – According to the spokesperson for the Department of Transport, Matome Moremi-Taueatsoala, the situation at Sekgopo has turned tense, but police are in the area monitoring the situation.
“Reports suggests that residents are in the bushes and throw stones to any moving vehicle that they see. To make matters worse, they relax and allow motorists to pass for few hours and thereafter start to smash passing vehicles,” he explained.
Moremi-Taueatsoala says motorists should use the Magoebaskloof route as an alternative.
