And the fourth Powerpuff Girl is… South African?

POLOKWANE – We know that the Powerpuff Girls were made with sugar, spice and all things nice and now the fourth member will be made with a whole lot of Mzanzi flair.

South African singer, pianist, dancer and performer, Toya deLazy will voice the fourth member in the 5-episode story, The Powerpuff Girls: Power of Four.

The official announcement of a new Powerpuff Girl joining the team was made on Wednesday, with Cartoon Network teasing the reveal with only a silhouette.

Not a stranger to the trio, Delazy has already worked with Cartoon Network’s Powerpuff Girls previously, as she crafted the Powerpuff Girls theme song for Africa.

The new season of the rebooted Powerpuff Girls starts on Sunday, 17 September in America but it isn’t know yet when it will air in South Africa.
