Police search for missing men in Thohoyandou

LIMPOPO – In the first case, Emmanuel Balaja (33), from Muledane village outside Thohoyandou, went missing on 31 July after he left home at about 18:10 to a local shop and he never returned back home.

Balaja was driving his white VW Jetta (registration DW 05 HV GP) when he was last seen.

“He is described as tall, coffee colour with short hair and he was wearing a navy blue T-shirt, blue jeans and black Adidas sandals,” explains police spokesperson Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe.

He further explains that the search operation was conducted at various places, including where his friends and relatives reside, with no success.

In the second case, 20-year-old Rofhiwa Mandiwana was last seen on 29 July in Tshulungoma village, outside Thohoyandou.

Mandiwana went missing after he left home at around 07:00 in the morning, to an unknown place, and he was never seen again.

“He is medium in size, height and light in complexion,” says Ngoepe.

A search was conducted with no success.
