New NFD team in Limpopo

Masala Mulaudzi confirmed he bought the status of Milano United FC which played at National First Division league.

LIMPOPO – This follows the decision by Limpopo ABC Motsepe team, Tshakhuma Tshamadzivhandila FC’s Managing Director, Masala Mulaudzi, to buy the status of Milano United FC.

Limpopo was left with one team in National First Division: Black Leopards, after Magezi FC was relegated to ABC Motsepe League.

Mulaudzi confirmed that he bought Milano, which plays in the National First Division League. According to him, he bought the team to develop young players and unearth Limpopo’s hidden talent.

Mulaudzi said he wants to produce more players who can play for any elite league team.

He stated that he is confident the people of Limpopo would help take his team to the highest level of football in the country within a reasonable period.

The team will use the Thohoyandou Stadium as their home ground.

Former Baroka coach, Sello Chokoe, has been appointed head coach of the team.

The team has started training at Levubu Sports Ground.

Mulaudzi said his team will play several matches before the league resumes and appealed to interested players around Vhembe to join the trials.

“The deal between us and Milano is done. It’s now all in the hands of the PSL.

But we expect them to give us an answer soon and that they will speed up the process,” said Mulaudzi.
