Music to get the masses moving

POLOKWANE –  Lim’s popular hip hop group On My Grind (OMG) are back on the scene with two hot new  singles.

The duo collaborated with one of Mzansi’s most prominent hip hop artists, BlackLez on their single On My Grind, and their other single, G-section, features one of the most celebrated artists from up north, Mizo Phyll.

Mulanga Kashflow Ralioma and Arina Flomatic Marwala teamed up late last year to form OMG with their shared passion for rap music as the catalyst.

Kashflow holds a diploma in graphic design from Rosebank College and in 2015 he released a Tshivenda Music Award winning, best hip hop album (King of Venrap), Zwire Mbiluni with songs that got airtime on various radio stations.

Flomatic seized second place in the Born to Entertain competition and he reached out to people through his music since the age of 17 when he performed numerous gigs and built a steady fanbase.

They formed OMG with the aim to change their rap game and were signed under Street Empire media last year in September with the help of their manager, Dakalo Dee Stan Mamathuntsha.

Their first single, On My Grind, featured Slikour on Life (underdog) and got its fair share of radio airplay on local stations.

On My Grind and G-section can be downloaded from various music platforms on the internet and the songs will also be played on various radio stations soon.

“We hope to get recognition on national radio stations through these new bangers. Working with a great artist like BlackLez was an amazing experience and a learning opportunity for us. It seems like 2017 is definitely our year to make Limpopo proud,” said Kashflow. Flomatic said their goal is to represent their hometowns and Limpopo as a whole on national level. He added if Kashflow managed to scoop an award as the King of Venrap, they would be almost guaranteed from winning several more awards on a national level.
