POLOKWANE – Following an exercise plan is very important for your health and wellness but it must go hand in hand with eating healthy to be effective.
This according to personal trainer, Liana Fourie. She says when it comes to losing weight, there is a lot of work that needs to be done but the hardest part of the struggle goes on in your mind as you constantly have to keep yourself motivated to stay dedicated to your meal plan.
She advises that making an effort to eat fresh, healthy vegetables such as broccoli, asparagus and cucumber is essential when it comes to eating right and being healthy.
“Combining healthy foods such as asparagus, cocktail tomatoes and pesto chicken is something that can make a great lunch or even dinner. Broccoli and prawns make a great salad. Eating healthy does not need to be boring,” she says. Watch the video below for a few examples:
