Pray for peace and rain – Mathabatha

Once again the year is almost done, although January seems like yesterday.

I therefore wish to congratulate all of us in Limpopo for working diligently through difficult and trying times. My greatest gratitude goes to those civil servants who served with distinction, taking services to our people. I hope this trend continues in the coming year of 2016.

I call upon all who will be travelling to do it with care and in style. There is nothing as sweet as arriving alive, even though late. Let’s drive safely with others, especially pedestrians, in mind. Let’s do it even if there are no traffic police.

May we assist the police to do their job with distinction. Let’s have a crime free festive season by being police reservists.

May we all pray for peace and rain. May we take Christmas as a time for family reunion.

Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
