POLOKWANE – Born and raised in Ga-Chuene village outside Polokwane, twin brothers Thapelo and Kgaogelo Chuene, better known as the Destructive Twins, say they have always dreamed of becoming the best house artists.

They say their first single, Thandaza featuring Don Kalonga from Malawi, was composed with the intention of taking the entertainment industry by storm.

Produced under the South African Music Rights Organisation (Samro), the single is already making it big on the local radio stations’ airwaves.

Thapelo says although they have just dropped their first single, they look forward to working with artists who have already made it in the music industry.

“We always dreamed of being part of the entertainment world and we believe with this single, we will take the first step,” says Thapelo.

“We look forward to composing and releasing more singles for our fans to ensure that we keep them entertained all the time.”

The duo is often invited to perform at local events and festivals and they hope to become well-known on a provincial and national level as well. “We have a big vision for our future and with our superb creative and variety of commercial house knowledge, we aim to bring better and even more entertainment to the music industry.” says Kgaogelo.

He says music is their life because they believe that through this industry they can become something better. “We hope to use our talent to give back to our people for their loyal support,” he says.
